Many years ago (1960), my Father opened a photographic business in Belleville. He and my mother ran this business very successfully out of their house across from Corby Park until they retired in 1997. I grew up surrounded by cameras and darkrooms. I spent a lot of my early years as the designated “school photographer” and even considered it as a career right from the start – even going as far as second shooting weddings with my Dad. Ultimately, I did choose a different path, but have always had a love and passion for being behind the lens and creating something special. Over the past few years, this passion has re-kindled and I’ve devoted much of my time to seriously pursuing photography as a path I intend to follow professionally. My goal is not to simply take pictures, but to capture the emotion and personality of my subjects. This is a very exciting time for me and my family as we intend to relocate back to Belleville and take this on full time.
